Picture Placer - Picture Hanging Made Easy
Have you ever ended up with multiple holes in your wall when you try to hang a picture? Or when trying to hang two or more pictures in a row, they ended up not being aligned - the top of the frames were just a bit off. The Picture Placer is a simple tool that takes the guess work out of where to place the nail or hook.
Picture Placer has two pieces:
- a part that goes over the top of the picture frame and
- an arm that has a notch for the frame wire. The arm slides into the first part.
Put the first part on the top of the frame and then hook the frame wire in the notch and slide the arm into the first part. Slide the arm up until the frame wire is taunt. Now position the picture on the wall and gently press. There is a point on the Picture Placer arm that puts a small dent in the wall where you should put your nail or if you are using hooks, the dent is where the bottom of the hook should be.

I bought one of these based on a friend's recommendation. I was a little skeptical at first but for 8 bucks I figured it wasn't a big risk. I tried it and it works great. It�s so simple and fast. I even bought another one for my father-in-law.

I have this product, Bob, and I love it! In fact, I have two of them. If it's a bigger piece of artwork, I can use both of them at the same time for two nails. I do not hang a picture without it. Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? Thanks, Marybeth

I have used the Picture Placer on two occasions and found it to be the most helpful tool of all when hanging photos and paintings. I am grateful to know how well it works, because after repainting our hallway, we have about 100 framed photos to hang... of which I would be apprehensive were it not for the "Picture Placer." Thanks to John Strobel, inventor, for this remarkable home decorating tool!

We just moved into a new home and the Picture Placer has been a great help in hanging all of our artwork. It's also a great housewarming gift! Great idea!

I recall early discussions with John about this device. I was not surprised when I found that it is selling well and used by many people. Being an independent, cantankerous cuss I usually want to get my pictures up in a hurry, even if not exactly where they should be, and don't spend the time to find the picture placer before I start.
